White Paper Abstract
The COVID pandemic significantly changed the workplace by forcing most organizations to work differently. While the world had previously dabbled in work-at-home, remote work, and virtual work, the pandemic forced us all to change — significantly and immediately.
To figure out where we're headed next, we polled our LinkedIn network to discuss post-pandemic leadership and leadership development trends. Our questions were:
- Has the profile of effective leadership changed as a result of the evolving workplace?
- What leadership skills are now critical for the next normal?
During 23 interviews of HR leaders and leadership development executives at large and medium-sized organizations, six key behaviors emerged as critical for leaders in the next normal:

- Agility
- Resilience
